"If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended"

I was walking through Barnes and Noble the other day, and I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream. that play will forever make me think of Anya and Kristen. it's also the play that got me hooked on Shakespeare.

my favorite perfume ever. it reminds me of my mother, who actually picked it out for me. every time I smell it I can't help but smile.

Diane Victor, a South African artist, did a number of portraits over a couple of years of people in South Africa with HIV/AIDS. All of the portraits are literally done in smoke. She collects smoke on the paper, and then uses a fine eraser to create her portraits. They're some of the most amazing works I've ever seen.
